About the image:
With roughly eight miles of narrow alleys snaking through it (at one time) the Al-Madina Souk was the largest covered market in the world. Sadly, much of it is now destroyed.
It was a friendly and inviting place. I use to love wandering through it and making pictures. Like many places in this part of the world, it's not uncommon to see men and boys walking arm in arm. I'm not sure if these two are really brothers, but they sure act like it.
All of the proceeds from this event will be donated to International Orthodox Christian Charities and will be used to directly help the people of Syria.
